Do any women ever walk around their home wearing a sleeveless nightgown and slippers WITHOUT a robe?

I do so all the time, and rarely wear slippers...they are just too hot, what is the point of a sleeveless nightgown (which is to keep you cool) and then throw a HOT robe over the top.
