I'm with my current boyfriend, but texting my ex?

i've already posted a question relatively like this but its got worse. i love my boyfriend alot, hes all i've ever wanted in a guy, sweet, caring, kind, loving & cute, we can talk to each other openly and not worry about feeling awkward. Thing is me and my boyfriend lets call himm.. dan, me & dan, before we started going out, we were quite sort of ual he'd touch my bum, put his hand down my top, feel me up, and stuff like that. Now we're going out, hes totally different, but like i like him still hes the sweet understanding kind of guy now. and i guess i partly miss the old him, i know thats sounds weird cause he was a complete like playa feeling up and that, but like, it made it funny an dless serious. Now my ex, lets call him...Jack, he started texting me the last two nights, and we were like texting all night hes complimenting my face body, bum & personality, saying i'm fit and buff and he's shaagg me. and i said to try and calm things down 'you could shag alot better peeps' and he goes ' nahh not in my eyes'. Hes like what dan, use to be, i think thats why i'm texting him, some people say i just want abit of male attention, and that thats fine as long as it doesn't get serious. i don't want to stop texting my ex altogether, just wanna understand like why i'm actually doing it, and how i could clean this up if my bf, asked why i had loads of texts off my ex on my phonee. pleasE?
