Can I be a librarian?

Frankly, very few universities offer a Masters program in Library Sciences - and thus it seems as if you're really wasting your time (and paying double the tuition) to pursue a Bachelors degree path in which there are no job opportunities straight out of college and instead require a Masters or a Doctorate at a minimum.
