Is it wrong to fall for someone that you have only met once but have only talk to by phone and email &pictures?

I met someone just before he left to go to afghanistan and we talk by email, phone. I feel like a high schooler and he makes me laugh and i make him laugh and we have met each other in person just before he left. I feel alive again is it wrong to feel like this again.
