Of course girls have been attracted to you (silently as you call it) but the real problem was (and still is) the communication. Just talk to girls. They won't bite. Don't just stick to your group of friends that are only boys. Talk to girls, even if it's just asking what the homework was. They'll see that you're nice and fun to be around and will want to be your friend. Good luck!
