I am using Firefox2 with Windows XP. Firefox was recently upgraded on my PC and now I cant download any addons

if you have taken an update then definitely you have installed firefox 3 . it is very advanced according to ffx 2 . you can reinstall the ffx and then put your add on again . the symptoms which you are telling is of the corrupted program , so it is better that you reinstall your program.
