Good on him for standing up for himself and other men. The policy is ridiculous and the fact that men are being treated thusly when utilizing a service that they pay for is wrong in more ways than one. If the airline is truly so concerned that the children traveling on their flights are at risk, then they need to have a special seating area for the children--the last three rows of seats closest to the bathroom seems appropriate. Or better yet, set a policy that children aren't allowed to travel alone, which in my opinion they shouldn't anyway. It is nice to see a man standing up to the discrimination out there. Hopefully he wins and this will start a trend.

2003 Suburban Automatic Trans Parking Pawl Sticking?

A friend I was giving a ride home to one night turned out to be tweaking on meth. She grabbed the steering wheel and swerved the vehicle while simultaneously running the shift lever into park on the interstate. This may have happened more than once - my memory is a bit hazy since my life was flashing before my eyes. Anyhow since then, it seems like if I put the vehicle into park and shut off the engine, the next time I start it and go to drive, the parking pawl is still engaged (I think) It doesn't disengage until I put the vehicle into reverse. This won't happen if I don't shut off the engine though. Any ideas on what might be broken and what it would take to fix?

I'd say that at too young an age leads to more unwanted pregnancies, and at a young age is more likely to be premarital. Nonmarital by mature people doesn't do that, I don't believe. So it's not true that premarital automatically leads to unwanted pregnancies.

Why is my mum so OBSSESED with cleaning?!?

i'm 18 and ever since i can remember, my house has been SPOTLESS and my mother was always cleaning, like ALWAYS. there are never dishes in the sink, or out of the sink, straight after dinner we have to wash them and put them away or she gets angry, she vacs our floorboards every morning, even though they literally are very clean from the last vaccuum, if anything is out ofplace is drives her crazy, our rooms have to be extremly tidy etc and i would be fine with this, its just that she makes me feel so guilty if i don't help her and clean as much as her, and she gets so pissed off just because we don't have the same crazy standards as her, its like she makes me feel like im a dirty unclean person if i am not the way she is, and i am really quite tidy. I go to my friends houses and even though i know theyre normal, to me they seem extremly unclean and filthy because of what i am used too. I know her mother is like this but worse, and it all started from when they moved here from Yugoslavia, where they lived in poverty, and my grandmother was obsessed with keeping her beautiful new house tidy with all these cleaning products suddenly available to her, and i guess the shock of not being dirt poor anymore would of contributed, do you think this is psychological issue my mother has due to her childhood or is she just reall really clean?

My name is Mandie and I have been in a relationship with a woman for just over 2 years now and I love her dearly. She has a seven year old daughter who used to be a nice, soft spoken kid who listened most of the time and wasn't so out of control until she turned 6... After she turned 6, her attitude went downhill at a rapid pace. A number of family members and friends who have witnessed the same attitude and who have babysat, confide in me about her daughters attitude and tell me "I don't know how you do it"... One time we went out to eat with a few other couples and we were all sitting at the table and her daughter was acting out so bad it was sickening.. The thing that’s even more shocking is that my girlfriend laughs it off and thinks it’s FUNNY that she’s so mouthy!! I have asked my girlfriend a number of times why she allows her daughter to act this way or why she allows her to stay up till whenever we go to bed which is midnight or later on a school night and her answer is always " I don't want to put up a fight every night for her to go to bed or do whatever. I try not to sweat the small things like that. I don't want my daughter to always think I’m angry at her all the time." Can you tell me, does that make sense? This isn’t sweating the small stuff! It’s called discipline and kids need it if you want them to grow up well developed and well mannered. I mean the kid gets everything and I mean everything she wants and my girlfriend still tolerates the kids’ behavior and NEVER sticks to ultimatums because she tells me she feels bad and doesn’t like to drag an argument out. Again, its not “dragging the argument out” it’s DISCIPLINE! Any parent will well mannered kids knows that you need to let the kid suffer the consequences and then learn from their mistakes not to do it again. I've talked to her family and friends and they totally agree with me but since my girlfriend is strongly opinionated and is quite defensive when confronted with parenting topics, even her sister who is closest to her doesn't know what advice to give me on approaching her without an argument. By the way, I hardly confront the family and friends about it, they bring it up to me just as much! My girlfriend just must not see it. The release of Lance Cade came as the most surprise to me. In my opinion, he was in line to get the biggest push of all those superstars. He seemed to be a promising talent acquisition, and evident by the fact that they partnered him up with Chris Jericho, it was obvious that WWE really liked him. He had already won the tag titles and him being moved to the main event scene was a huge step, considering how fast the push occurred. But hearing the reason for his release seemed very scary to me. I have two daughter 3 and a half (Isabella Kristine) and 2 and a half (Alejandra Nicole). I am Hispanic, my husband is American. I wanted to name them with one name in Spanish and one in English. Isabella Kristine is fine, everybody calls her Isabella. It happens that it was hard for English spiking people to say the name Alejandra, so when she was 7 months old we started calling her Nicole. Is a standard American Eskimo dog good for me?

I am going to be getting a dog when I graduate next year. I am starting early so I can do my propper research. I am considering a standard size american eskimo dog. I live in an apartment that does allow dogs. The building is next to a long bike path for walks and there are two dog parks in the town I live in. I will be getting an adult dog from a rescue, but I will be gone about eight hours a day with a break at lunch to come home and let the dog out for a while. I want a dog that will be ok with strangers and kids but does not really have to like them all that much. I just don't want a dog that is likely to attack. I will crate train it. Why won't my car start sometimes?

My car a 1976 Lincoln will die randomly and refuses to start without cooling for an hour or two. The temp gauge is normal. There is no spark when it gets hot, there is when it cools. The shop said that it was the electronic ignition control module. They replaced and the problem persists. The battery, starter, starter solenoid, wires, ignition, spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap and rotor are all good. Shop can't diagnose. Help!

Anyone install the game rift and have it ruin their hard drive?

Last night i bought Rift installed it and briefly played. This morning I found my computer hard frozen, so i un-plug it. I was unable to log on and the comp refused to boot. I did i few system restores followed by a system recovery. My comp boots now but has a minor lag to it. After playing around with it a little I try to install rift again (unaware that it may be the culprit) Everything is ok untill about 60% through the mive 8g patch. My comp locks up again! So i've been interested in the Scott Pilgrim comic series for a while, since i first heard a movie was being made with Michael Cera about 1 or 2 years ago. I just saw the trailer and it looks really good. So I'm wondering if its a good comic for someone who doesn't really like reading comics. I'm more of a book reader (hate twilight with a pion) so I'm pretty much in it for the story aspect. Should I just wait for the movie or read the comic? Would they have it at the library? OK i rent in a duplex with forced air heating, and no A/C. Our windowsare very drafty and like an idiot i didnt put up any plastic on the windows. I have been doing things like wearing layers, and using blankets while watching tv, yet i am still cold somtimes. My question is this....... i know that energy light bulbs are more effiencent then regular bulbs. But in a case of new technoligy, would turning down the heat, and using an electric space heater, or electric blanket actually be more effiecent then having the heat turned up a few degrees? Because its heating a smaller area? I am also gonna try to dry my work clothes by hanging and not drying. First time Homebuyer's Credit question regarding repayment?

We took the $7500 credit on this year's taxes. Soon after my husband decided to join the military and we have since been trying to sell the house. The value of the house has gone down in a little over a year (~$4000 or so) and as such we have the house priced below what we owe for it. If it were to sell at a loss I understand that we wouldn't owe the money back, but what happens if we can't sell and he goes off to basic? I am 9 mths pregnant and now overdue by two days. My have gotten bigger like normal however they have not shown any sign of leakage. This is my second child which is making me curious because with my first child I began leaking at about 6 mths. I know that every pregnancy is different and it is sometimes common for females not to leak until after the baby is born. I'm just curious though, because I stopped taking my prenatal vitamins with this pregnancy around three months. They would make me sick and I was always in pain with gas bubbles. Get the Celica or the acura RSX because those are the two best most reliable cars up there. The eclipse is a nice car but I've known someone who had one in the year and after 80000 miles it had problem after problem. Jetta is a good car but has very spotty reliability. My friends has never had a problem and he redlines it every day while another person I know has issues every other month and he never has redlined it. the Hyundai Tiburon is nice. Trust me I like that car a lot but Hyundai isn't a good brand. If you can get the BMW I would buy it. Those cars seems to last forever but repairs and maintience is very expensive. In life... you think, you breathe, you eat... but when you get into more detail, people either go down two paths.. they either learn when they are young or they completely throw their chance at a good life by not caring about school.. when your older the person who learned goes to college and the person who got a social life and not focused on school goes to a job which pays minimum wage(most of the time). Then when that person who went to college gets out of college usually they get a great job and a good family and a great house. the person who didnt lives in an apartment or house but not a good one or maybe an average house. The fact is what is the point usually we go no where. one person is happy and one worked while the other is stressed and unhappy. but we all die and once you think about it. what did that one person work for? was it all for nothing? or was it happiness? what was the point of that work if they had the same fate as the other person who didnt go to college and had a bad job and house? if you can answer that i will be satisfied with my life and work hard to prosper so thank you for answering.

Botox for forehead...?

I don't have wrinkles or lines in my forehead, but when I was having trigger point therapy done (mage), my therapist said that I was holding all my stress in my forehead. I would grimace and scowl without even knowing it. And I have pressure constantly across my forehead area from that. I find when i consciously relax my brow area it feels like I'm releasing tension. Would botox help relax this area so I wouldnt carry my stress there so much?

I live in a duplex and my apartment is the end unit which is next the garage that belongs to the people in the apartment on the other end. Every night at about 2-3:00 am Im awakened by the noise they are making in the garage - whether its someone knocking on the garage door or them scuffling around. Its about 10 degrees outside at that time of night. I have suspicion that they are using drugs (Im not the kinda person who is suspicious of everyone) and so does everyone else who knows whats going. They have 2 small kids that are left in the apartment by themselves and I have 2 kids that are in the room next to the garage. Im not only worried about their kids but mine as well.
